Earl grey waffles
Makes 6 waffles
2 c Earl grey milk (warmed milk infused with one or two tea bags, two for more to taste)
1/4 c melted butter or coconut oil (cooled)
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 c flour
2 tsp baking power
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
Heat waffle iron; once heated, grease with butter or coconut oil.
In a bowl combine wet ingredients. In another larger bowl, whisk dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients into the dry until combined, but do not over mix.
Batter should be thick pourable batter so add more or less milk if need be.
Pour batter into the waffle iron & then cook until done according to your machine.
Enjoy!! And if you’re obsessed with Earl grey like I am, you’ll love these & really enjoy!!!
