Martha Stewart’s Original One-Pot Pasta

12 oz tomatoes (cherry or grape sliced in half)

1 white onion, thinly sliced

4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

2 full sprigs basil

1/2 tsp dried chili flakes (or more if you like it spicy)

2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper

2 glugs olive oil

4 1/2 c water

Place all ingredients (less the water) in a heavy saucepan then cover with the water. On high heat, bring pasta to a boil and once boiling, stir while it bubbles for 9 mins.
