Cream cheese brownies…omg!

Omg!…Seriously! A must try. It’s chocolatey, velvety, sweet – but not too sweet – with smooth cream cheese swirls!…try them!…Seriously. Seriously!!


Cream cheese brownies

Melt 4tbsp semi-sweet chocolate with 3tbsp butter, cool.

Meanwhile blend:

1/4 c butter, softened
5 oz cream cheese (just over half a brick)
1/4 c sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp vanilla

In another bowl mix:

2 eggs
3/4 c sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 c flour
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Add cooled chocolate & mix well.

In a greased 9 x 9 pan, pour the chocolate batter in the bottom of the pan then layer the cream cheese batter on top. Using a butter knife, slowly swirl the two batters…

Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30-35 mins (until a tooth pick comes out fairly clean, do not overbake tho!)

Look at that marbled perfection…my mom’s recipe that people are always asking about!!!



Try it!! Top it with chocolate icing, dusted icing sugar, whip cream or ice cream for a fab, rich & decadent dessert!!!
