Sangria: Red vs White!!!

I love both, especially on a hot summer day!! Make it at least an hour ahead or up to a day before,…the longer it sits the juicier & more flavourful it gets!!

Sangria 

1 bottle of your fav wine 

(Red I use pinot noir or White I use Pinot Grigio)

1/2 of a 375ml bottle Cointreau 

(Oooh or use apricot brandy, Gran Marnier or Triple Sec)

1-2 cups ginger beer 

(Or use gingerale or sparkling water – but sweeten it with a fresh squeezed orange or a bit of any kind of juice)

1 cup fruit: strawberries, blackberries, peaches, blueberries 

(Yum or use grapes, apples, plums, lychee, raspberries, citrus slices…Think light fruits for the white and darker fruits for the red..)

Add the fruit to the pitcher and smoosh with a wooden spoon. Add the liquids, mix and enjoy!
