Chocolate VS Peanut Butter?!…It’s ok to love both!!!!

I found this recipe on Pinterest and have to say I was in chocolate peanut butter heaven when I made them!! They taste almost exactly like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup….seriously!!! So easy, no bake and irresistible…I promise you’ll eat the whole pan….in one day! haha…


Peanut Butter “cups” bar

1 cup melted butter

2 cups graham cracker crumbs (I found 2 c made it a bit dry, I recommend about 1/4  c less)

2 cups powdered/icing sugar

1 cup peanut butter (I used KRAFT Natural crunchy peanut butter – it’s just peanuts…pure peanuty goodness)

1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

4 tbsp peanut butter (for this regular peanut butter)

Mix together the melted butter, graham crumbs, icing sugar and 1 c peanut butter until well blended. Press into a 9” x 13” pan (or half it & use an 8” round or square pan). Melt the chocolate and 4 tbsp peanut butter in a double boiler or microwave, stirring occasionally until smooth. Pour chocolate over the graham crust then refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set before cutting into squares…I liked it brought to room temperature after it was set to serve…eaten alone or OMG chopped up over ice cream – yes please!!!


Want to actually use Resse’s Peanut Butter Cups?? Try this super yummy cookie recipe:

Reese peanut butter cup cookies

1/2 cup butter softened

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

1 egg, beaten

1 tsp vanilla

2 tbsp milk

1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

40 mini Reese’s peanut butter cups

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter, sugars and peanut butter until fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla and milk. In another bowl mix flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture and blend well. Shape into 40 – 1” balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for about 8 minutes..

Now the fun part – the Reese’s peanut butter cups…either press one mini cup immediately into each baked cookie while still warm OR cool the cookies then  place a mini cup between two cookies (flat sides) and microwave for 5-7 seconds until melty and gently press the cookies together then wait several minutes for the cookies and peanut butter cup to stick together.

Peanut butter and chocolate….a match made in who cares how many calories heaven!!
